Sandra Tenge

Sandra has worked in the area of health for 20 years, including running a busy health food cafe and multi modality clinic in Hawthorn. She brings her knowledge gained as an Intensive Care Nurse and integrates it with her experience as a Naturopath.

Sandra’s area of expertise is in the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Digestive Health symptoms. She specializes in allergy and food intolerance, offering a variety of testing options and supervision of elimination diets (gluten, dairy, fructose free etc). Using Herbal medicine, Nutrition and Homeopathy she can also greatly improve your general immune health, fatigue, stress, insomnia or anxiety.

Sandra treats many children’s health issues including Autism, learning and behavioral difficulties, and has experience with complementary cancer support including lecturing for Cabrini Hospital’s Cancer Support Program.

With her hospital background, Sandra can liaise well with other health practitioners for those clients who require an integrative approach to their healthcare, and has a good understanding of complex health issues.

As a health educator and public speaker she is involved in increasing community awareness around a number of health issues. She has a special interest in promoting healthy eating and nutrition, working with families both in clinic and in the home to achieve manageable dietary and lifestyle changes for better health outcomes. Sandra has also guest lectured at RMIT and speaks as a health coach on a range of topics.

Sandra holds an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science in Intensive Care Nursing, Diploma of Health Science in Naturopathy, Diploma of Health Science in Nutrition and Diploma of Health Science in Herbal Medicine.

Sandra’s professional association memberships include the Australian Health Practitioners Regulartory Agency (AHPRA), Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) an Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM).
